alle fünf mit bloßem Auge
erkennbaren Planeten am Himmel
versammelt: Merkur eilt zu seiner
Morgensichtbarkeit, die nun mit
jedem Tag zunimmt, am 28.11. am
ausgeprägtesten ist und noch bis
etwa Nikolaus andauert. Den
Morgenhimmel teilt er sich mit Mars,
der auf etwa halbem Weg zwischen
Spica und Merkur steht. Wachwechsel
am Abendhimmel: Venus ist am 24.11.
kurz nach Sonnenuntergang nur etwa
drei Monddurchmesser von Jupiter
entfernt.<br>
Zwischen dem 24. und dem 29.11.
wandert der Mond in einer knappen
Woche an allen
fünf hellen Planeten vorbei: Mars
besucht er am 24., tags darauf
Merkur. Am 28. reiht sich die zwei
Tage junge Mondsichel (Fernglas!)
zwischen Venus und Jupiter ein.
Saturn bildet am 29.11. den
Schlussakkord. <br>

besteht zu 5 Prozent aus
baryonischer Dunkler Materie. In
den Galaxien könnte ein Teil davon
in Schwarzen Löchern,
Neutronensternen und Braunen
Zwergen versteckt sein. Der
Nachweis gelingt mit dem
Gravitationslinseneffekt und
seinen charakteristischen
Lichtkurven. Bisher wurden solche
tausendfach in unserer Milchstraße
gefunden. Mit dem 2-Meter-Teleskop
am Wendelstein spüren
Wissenschaftler solche
Helligkeitsänderungen in der
hundertmal weiter entfernten
Andromeda-Galaxie M31 auf.</p>

die Netzküche brodelt...</em> <br>

Wird der alljährliche, sonst eher
unauffällige Meteorstrom aus
Richtung des Sternbilds Einhorn
(links neben Orion) diesmal am
frühen Morgen des 22. November
tatsächlich eine stündliche
Fallrate (ZHR) von 1.000
Sternschnuppen erreichen? 1925,
1935, 1985 und 1995 gab es so
etwas schon mal, und einiges
spricht dafür, dass 2019 wieder
ein gutes Alpha-Monocerotiden-Jahr
werden könnte. Sicher ist nichts.
Wer sich trotzdem den Wecker
stellen möchte: Am besten so spät
wie möglich in der Nacht (ab 3
oder 4 Uhr) bzw. in den Stunden
vor Sonnenaufgang schauen.
Erwartet
wird das Maximum zwischen 5 und 6
Uhr früh am Freitag, kann aber
auch ein paar Stunden eher
eintreten. Die Aktivitätsspitze
dauert vermutlich nur eine halbe
Stunde. Berücksichtigt man
Mondschein und evtl. schon
Dämmerung bleiben im besten Fall
womöglich nur wenige hundert
Sternschnuppen übrig. Für den
diesjährigen
Weihnachts-Wunschzettel sollte das
erstmal genügen, oder?<br>
