Merkur in seinem größten östlichen
Abstand von der Sonne in seiner
jahresbesten Abendsichtbarkeit. Ende
des Monats (am 26.) durchläuft er
schon die untere Konjunktion. Nur
diese Woche bleibt daher noch, um
ihn am Abendhimmel zu erspähen: am
besten kurz nach 18 Uhr knapp 10
Grad über dem Horizont schauen,
rechts unterhalb von Venus. Ein
kleiner Feldstecher hilft beim
Auffinden.<br>
Mit einem größeren Fernohr - zum
Beispiel bei unserer Abendführung -
erkennt man, wie die Venus weiter
abnimmt und allmählich zur
Halb-Venus (am 27. März) schrumpft.</p>

Aktionskünstler Tommy Schmidt
plant, im Laufe des Jahres 2020
eine größere Fläche im Stadtgebiet
Münchens für mehrere Nächte
stundenweise zu verdunkeln. In der
so entstehenden im urbanen Umfeld
ungewohnten Finsternis werden
Performances mit Publikum
stattfinden, zum Beispiel
Aufstellung von Sternenbildern und
Simulationen von Umlaufbahnen.
Außerdem werden Astronomen mit dem
Publikum den Sternenhimmel
beobachten und über Sterne,
Planeten und Galaxien sowie ihre
Bedeutung für Kultur, Navigation
und Zeitmessung sprechen. Im
Kolloquium stellt er sein Konzept
DIE NACHT DER STERNE vor. </p>

wir heute viele interessante
Informationen aus aller Welt,
natürlich aber auch viel
Fragwürdiges. Immer häufiger
findet sich dort die Behauptung,
unsere Erde sei gar keine Kugel,
sondern irgendwie flach, eine
Scheibe gar und nur dunkle Mächte
würden den Leuten die Kugelgestalt
einreden! Wir schauen uns also
verschiedene Aspekte dieser wilden
