0px;">Ein schönes Ensemble zeigt
sich an den kommenden Abenden vom
20. bis 22. Januar nach Einbruch der
Dunkelheit hoch im Süden-Südwesten,
wenn der zunehmende Halbmond unter
Mars und Uranus entlang läuft. Mars
wiederum wandert dieser Tage nur
etwa drei Mond-Durchmesser (ca.1,5
Grad) nördlich an Uranus vorbei.
Eine prima Gelegenheit, ein Auge auf
den solchermaßen umschwärmten
Planeten zu werfen, der mit einer
Helligkeit von 5,8 mag unter idealen
Bedingungen sogar ohne optische
Hilfsmittel erkennbar ist.
Gleichwohl wurde er jahrtausendelang
übersehen, und seine Entdeckung
durch Herschel jährt sich in diesem
März gerade erst zum 240. Mal.<br>
Der Mond wandert dann übrigens
zielstrebig weiter in Richtung auf
das Goldene Tor der Ekliptik, das
gebildet wird von den beiden
berühmten offenen Sternhaufen im
Stier: den Hyaden bei Aldebaran zur
Linken und den Plejaden zur Rechten
("vom Mond aus" gesehen). Ob der
