Unser Mitglied Wolfgang Schindler aus der <a href="https://www.sternwarte-muenchen.de/kurse.html#astrofoto" style="color: #3f3f3f; text-decoration: underline;">Astrofoto-Gruppe</a> hat die Passage dokumentiert (s. Bild). Es lohnt sich, Mars auch in den nächsten zwei Wochen im Blick zu behalten: Am 19. März balanciert die junge Mondsichel genau zwischen Aldebaran und Mars hindurch und läutet damit den bundesweiten Astronomietag am 20. März ein - an dem sich selbstverständlich auch die Volkssternwarte München beteiligen wird. Über das genaue Angebot informieren wir Sie in der nächsten Woche.</p></td>

Vor wenigen Tagen, am 5. März, stand sie in Opposition. Ihre Schleife dreht sie im Löwen und ist derzeit sehr leicht knapp oberhalb des Sterns Chertan aufzufinden. An der jetzt wieder zunehmenden Entfernung zu diesem Teil des Hinterlaufs des Löwen ist auch die tägliche Bewegung gut ablesbar. Mit 5,9 mag ist sie theoretisch sogar freiäugig sichtbar. Ein kleiner haushaltsüblicher Feldstecher ist aber sicher hilfreich.</p></td>
