April (Do.) den Stern Omega-2 Tauri vorübergehend "ausknipsen", indem er ihn, von München aus gesehen, kurz nach 22:40 Uhr MESZ bedeckt. Mit 4,9 mag ist es ein relativ heller Stern, theoretisch zwar noch mit freiem Auge sichtbar, ein kleiner Feldstecher wird aber gute Dienste leisten.</p><p style="margin: 1em 0px;">Eine Sternbedeckung bei zunehmendem Mond hat immer den besonderen Reiz, dass sich der Mond mit seiner dunklen Seite dem Stern nähert, so dass man die Annäherung bis zum Schluss gut verfolgen kann. Weil der Mond keine Atmosphäre besitzt, verschwindet der Stern schlagartig - wie ausgeknipst. Ein sehenswerter Schlussakt des Winterhimmels, den Sie bei hoffentlich klarem Himmel nicht verpassen sollten.
