Mai 2022, 18:00 Uhr </strong>(Dauer ca. 1 Stunde)</p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Die Reise ins All ist ein uralter Menschheitstraum. So lebte im 15. Jahrhundert in China der kaiserliche Beamte Wan Hu. Er wollte selbst zu den Sternen fliegen. Daher baute er einen Stuhl, an dem er 47 Feuerwerksraketen befestigte. Seinen Assistenten befahl er, alle Raketen gleichzeitig zu zünden. Es gab einen großen Knall – und Wan Hu war auf Nimmerwiedersehen verschwunden. Heute können wir über solche Versuche nur schmunzeln. In Hightech-Raketen haben bisher mehr als 500 Menschen die Erde verlassen, zwölf sind auf dem Mond herumgehüpft. Und hoch über unseren Köpfen zieht die Internationale Raumstation ISS ihre Kreise. Mai 2022, früh morgens ab 4 Uhr</strong> ist bei günstigen Wetterbedingungen über München der Anfang einer totalen Mondfinsternis zu sehen. Selbstverständlich hat die Sternwarte dann geöffnet und heißt alle Mondsüchtigen, gleich ob Nachtigall oder Lerche, zur frühmorgendlichen Sonderveranstaltung <strong><a style="color: #3f3f3f; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://sternwarte-muenchen.de/event-vsw/maimorgen-mondfinsternis/">MaiMorgenMond</a></strong> willkommen. </p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Davor gibt es zwei Vorträge zur Einstimmung auf das Mond-Thema und einen in der Woche darauf zu Finsternissen allgemein: </p>

<li><strong>Am Freitag, dem 20. Mai, um 20 Uhr</strong> spannt der Vortrag <a style="color: #3f3f3f; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://sternwarte-muenchen.de/event-vsw/saros220520/"><strong>"Über Finsternisse und den SAROS-Zyklus"</strong></a> den Bogen von der jetzigen Mond- zur Sonnenfinsternis im Oktober und erklärt, warum das Auftreten der Finsternisse alles andere als zufällig ist und wie sich Finsternisse schon seit Jahrtausenden vorhersagen ließen.</li>

<td class="long-text links-color" style="font-weight: normal; color: #000000; font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: left; line-height: normal;" align="left" valign="top" width="100%"> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: justify;"><em><strong>"Man muss noch Chaos in sich haben, um einen tanzenden Stern gebären zu können"</strong></em><br>So stellte bekanntlich schon der Philosoph Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900) fest.</p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Und wie schon gesagt: Unser Mond ist immer einen Blick wert. Heute Abend ab 22 Uhr ganz besonders. Denn wenn Sie scharfe Augen haben oder am besten ein kleines Fernglas zu Hilfe nehmen, werden Sie bald nach 22 Uhr schier Unglaubliches erleben: Der Mond gebiert scheinbar einen Stern. (Ob der tanzt, wissen wir nicht, rotieren tut er aber schon.)<br><br>Natürlich nur scheinbar, denn Sterne sind Teil der translunaren Sphäre, also viel weiter weg als der Mond. Ab und an kommt es aber zu Bedeckungen auch hellerer Sterne durch den Mond, so in diesem Fall: Eta Leonis, der Name des Sterns, zeigt bereits an, dass er zu den leuchtstärkeren Hauptsternen des Sternbilds Löwe gehört, konkret zu der sog. "Sichel", einer gebogenen Sternenreihe, die sich vom Hauptstern Regulus nach oben wie ein spiegelverkehrtes Fragezeichen ausnimmt und die Löwenmähne darstellt.<br><br>Eta Leonis hat die Helligkeit 3,5 mag und ist somit für sich genommen auch freiäugig aus der Stadt leicht sichtbar. Gut eine Stunde zuvor, wenn es leider noch zu hell für die Beobachtung ist, wurde Eta von der Mondscheibe bedeckt. Am hellen Mondrand ist der Stern direkt nach Austritt um ca. 22 Uhr vom Kontrast her kaum ohne optisches Gerät zu erkennen, doch mit jeder Minute entfernt sich der Mond auf seiner Bahn um die Erde weiter von dem Stern. Ab wann können Sie ihn erspähen?</p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; text-align: justify;"><em>Für Kurzentschlossene:</em> <br>Heute Abend bei der Abendführung "Münchner Sternstunden" sind ausnahmsweise noch etliche Plätze frei. Kommen Sie einfach pünktlich zu 21 Uhr zur Abendkasse (Eintritt 8 / erm. 5 Euro), dann können Sie das Schauspiel bei genügend klarem Himmel mit teleskopischer Hilfe verfolgen und bekommen natürlich eine komplette Sternwartenführung samt Planetariumsvorstellung noch dazu.<br><br></p> </td>
