Immer bessere und leistungsfähigere Teleskope erlauben uns neuerdings aber auch die physikalischen Prozesse abseits der hellen, stellaren Scheiben zu studieren — und dort wurden in den letzten Jahren einige rätselhafte Entdeckungen gemacht. In meinem Vortrag werde ich eine kleine Tour durch die Theorie der Galaxienentstehung und -evolution geben und zeigen, dass insbesondere die Gasbewegungen (wie z.B. galaktische Winde) um die Galaxien herum eine besondere Rolle spielen. Juni um 20 Uhr</strong> im Vortrag von Michael Frühauf M.Sc. (wiss. Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Raumfahrttechnik der TU München) zu bestaunen. Anlass ist natürlich der nahende weltweite Asteroidentag am 30. Juni (und eine unbekannte Anzahl sich möglicherweise zeitgleich nahender Asteroiden...) sowie die DART-Mission, die zielstrebig auf den kleinen Asteroidenmond Didymoon zusteuert und diesen durch einen gezielten Einschlag im Herbst 2022 (zumindest ein bisschen) aus der Bahn werfen will.<br><br></li>
<li><strong>Am Donnerstag, dem 30.
