hat einiges zu bieten, ganz vorne
mit dabei sind natürlich die großen
<strong>Teleskope auf der
Dachterasse</strong>. Aber was
nützen einem diese, wenn man sich
nicht richtig an sie rantraut? <br>
Der neue <strong>Teleskop-Kurs</strong>
für unsere Mitglieder kann hier
Abhilfe schaffen!<br>
<br>
Nach einer Einführung erarbeiten
sich die Teilnehmer praktisch und
theoretisch die 5 “großen” Teleskope
der Volkssternwarte. Jeden Abend
steht ein anderes Instrument im
Fokus: <strong>Geschichte und
Aufbau</strong> des Instruments
werden jeweils in einem
theoretischen Teil erläutert bevor
es dann direkt am Instrument an die
<strong>praktische Seite der
Fernrohrbenutzung</strong> geht.<br>
<br>
Die Teilnehmer können dabei nicht
nur den Umgang mit dem jeweiligen
Teleskop üben, gerne vertiefen wir
uns dabei auch – je nach
Interessenlage der Teilnehmer – in
speziellere Themen wie z.B. die
Computersteuerung der Teleskope,
Reinigung von optischen
Instrumenten, Starhopping,
Astrofotografie mit und ohne
Stacking, Videoastronomie, etc. Dazu
ziehen wir ggfs. auch weitere
Referenten hinzu, die uns zu
spezielleren Themen detailliert
Auskunft geben können und damit
diesen Mitmach-Kurs bereichern.<br>

Gegen Ende des Kursabends öffnen wir
das jeweilige Teleskop dann auch für
die anwesenden Abend-Besucher und
präsentieren dort astronomische
Objekte.<br>

Der Kurs ist für Anfänger wie
Fortgeschrittene geeignet,
gegenseitiges voneinander lernen und
der aktive Austausch stehen im
Vordergrund.</p>

los! Zum einen beginnt an diesem Tag
astronomisch gesehen der <strong>Herbst</strong>:<br>

die Sonne durchschreitet auf ihrer
scheinbaren Bahn den Himmelsäquator
von Norden nach Süden und steht
exakt senkrecht auf dem Äquator. Das
tut sie dieses Jahr genau um <strong>03:03
Uhr morgens</strong> am Freitag,
den 23. September. Umgangssprachlich
kennt man das als Tagundnachtgleiche
oder auch unter dem Fachbegriff <strong>Äquinoktium</strong>.<br>
Die Nächte sind ab diesem Tag also
wieder länger als die Tage - eine
Freude für das astronomische Herz!</p>

außerdem <strong>"Licht aus! Für
eine ganze Nacht!". </strong>Es
ist Earth Night.</p>

justify;">Haben Sie schonmal den
"echten" Sternenhimmel gesehen?
Einen, der ungestört ist vom
Streulicht von Straßenlaternen, dem
Neonlicht von Außenreklame und den
vielen, vielen anderen Lichtquellen
der Zivilisation? Tatsächlich haben
immer weniger Menschen die Chance,
wahre Dunkelheit und die
damiteinhergehende Schönheit des
Nachthimmels in ihrer Gänze zu
erleben.</p>
<p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align:
justify;">Bei der Earth Night, die
immer an dem Freitag im September
statt findet, der dem Neumond in
diesem Monat am nächsten ist, soll
der Erde eine Nacht "echte"
Finsternis gegönnt werden. Damit
soll auf die immer weiter zunehmende<strong>
Lichtverschmutzung</strong> und
ihre Folgen für Mensch, Natur und
Umwelt aufmerksam gemacht werden.</p>

justify;">Ab spätestens 22 Uhr heißt
es:<strong> "Licht aus!"</strong><br>
Natürlich kann nicht überall und bei
allen Menschen sofort das Licht
einfach so gelöscht werden. Trotzdem
kann jeder mitmachen! Zugezogene
Jalousien, Vorhänge oder Rollos
machen die Nacht auch schon ein
erhebliches Stück dunkler.</p>

leuchtet da so hell momentan am
Nachthimmel, leicht gelblich und so
grell, dass man es kaum für möglich
hält?<br>
Na klar, es ist der dicke Brummer
des Sonnensystems: <strong>der
Planet Jupiter</strong>.<br>
Er begleitet uns nun schon länger
kurz nach Sonnenuntergang, wo er im
Osten aufgeht und dann in Richtung
Süden hoch an den Himmel zieht.<br>
<br>
Jupiter erreicht nun am 26.
September seine <strong>Opposition</strong>.
Das bedeutet, er steht von uns aus
auf der Erde gesehen, <strong>der
Sonne direkt gegenüber</strong>.
Er geht mit Sonnenuntergang auf und
verschwindet erst wieder hinter dem
Horizont, wenn die Sonne aufgeht. Es
ist also die beste Nacht, um unseren
gigantischen übernächsten Nachbarn
(nach dem Mars) zu beobachten.<br>
<br>
Verfehlen kann man ihn bei halbwegs
klarem Himmel wirklich nicht.
Jupiter leuchtet in dieser Nacht mit
einer <strong>scheinbaren Magnitude
von -2,9</strong> so hell, dass
praktisch alles neben ihm verblasst.
Übrigens tut er das natürlich nicht
von allein. Wie von allen Planeten
ist das Licht, was wir von Jupiter
empfangen und mit eigenen Augen
sehen können, die Reflexion des
Sonnenlichtes, welches auf den
Gasriesen fällt.<br>
<br>
Jupiter, das ist der Name des
Hauptgottes der alten Römer (auf
Griechisch: Zeus) und diesen Namen
trägt er nicht umsonst. Er ist der
größte Planet des Sonnensystems,
sein Radius beträgt das 11,2 - fache
des Erdradius und ein ganzes Zehntel
des Sonnenradius. Wäre er etwas
schwerer, so würde in seinem Inneren
die sogeannte Deuteriumfusion zünden
und er würde von einem Planeten zu
einem <strong>Braunen Zwerg</strong>
werden, soetwas wie ein beinahe -
Stern.<br>
Auf Jupiters Oberfläche toben Stürme
und Wolkenbänder rasen um den
Planeten, die man mit einem kleinen
Teleskop bereits erkennen kann. Am
bekanntesten ist wohl sein gut
erkennbares "Rotes Auge", ein
Wirbelsturm der schon seit
Jahrhunderten wütet.</p>

("Double Asteroid Redirection
Test") Mission liefern, deren
Höhepunkt am <strong>Montag, den
26. September</strong> erreicht
sein wird:<br>
Die Sonde wird absichtlich in <strong>Dimorphos</strong>,
den Mond des Asteroiden Didymos,
einschlagen und versuchen, dessen
Bahn leicht zu verändern. <br>
Später wird die Folgemission Hera
die neue Bahn genau vermessen und
verkünden, inwieweit DART
erfolgreich war.</p>
