In dem Vortrag werden historische Hintergründe und biographische Einzelschicksale vorgestellt.</p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; text-align: justify;">„Nach der Machtübertragung an eine NS-geführte Regierung am 30. Januar 1933 kam es bereits im April zu gesetzlichen Maßnahmen, um Angehörige des öffentlichen Dienstes nicht nur aus politischen, sondern auch aus “rassischen Gründen“, d.h. mit einem jüdischen Familienhintergrund (unabhängig von einem eigenen religiösen Bekenntnis) oder später auch mit einem solchen Ehepartner entlassen zu können. Das betraf den Wissenschaftsbetrieb an den Universitäten und staatlichen Forschungseinrichtungen zum Teil erheblich. Nach einem Überblick über diese Vorgänge wird das Schicksal von Entlassung und Emigration einer Reihe von betroffenen Astronomen skizziert. Darunter finden sich Angehörige aus bekannten Familien mit Wissenschaftstradition wie Günter Archenhold, Rudolph Minkowski oder Martin Schwarzschild.“<br><br><em>Dr. Stefan Wolff ist Senior Researcher für die Physikgeschichte des 19. und 20. Jan, 21:53 Uhr) hatte es in sich: Nicht nur markierte er das <strong>chinesische Neujahrsfest</strong>, das jeweils auf den zweiten Neumond nach der Wintersonnenwende fällt. Es ist dem chinesischen Tierkreis zufolge das <strong>"Jahr des Hasen"</strong>. - Einen Hasen haben aber auch wir im Abendland am Himmel stehen, wenn auch nicht im Tierkreis: Der Hase ist jetzt abends gut direkt unterhalb von Orion zu finden, wo er sich vor Sirius und dem Großen Hund versteckt. <a style="color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hase_(Sternbild)">Finden Sie ihn?</a></p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Zudem war der aktuelle Neumond <strong>der nächste und somit scheinbar größte Neumond in 1.337 Jahren</strong>, wie Graham Jones herausgefunden und am 17.1. auf <a style="color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://www.timeanddate.com/news/astronomy/closest-new-moon-2023">timeanddate.com</a> publiziert hatte. Nur 356.568 km war er von der Erde entfernt, also gerade mal einen Katzen- oder Hasensprung weit. In dem untersuchten Zeitraum von zweitausend Jahren kommt der Neumond der Erde nur im Jahre 1030 und das nächste Mal wieder im Jahr 2368 der Erde um 6 bzw. 9 km noch näher. Zum Vergleich: Im erdfernen Bereich ist der Mond über 405.000 km weit weg und erscheint daher im Durchmesser gut ein Zehntel kleiner. Das ließe sich am 5. Februar, beim nächsten Vollmond, beobachten, denn zu einem Super-Neumond gehört ein Mini-Vollmond.</p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Dass ein besonders groß erscheinender, dabei aber gänzlich unsichtbarer Neumond - sofern nicht gerade eine Sonnenfinsternis stattfindet, die dadurch besonders lange dauern würde - natürlich keine wirklich sinnvolle Information darstellt, darin liegt die feine Ironie dieser Nachricht, die von allen Medien begierig aufgegriffen wurde.</p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Neben dem ganz üblichen Einfluss auf die <strong>Tiden</strong> (<a style="color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Springtide">Springtiden</a>), ist selbst der Unterschied zwischen einem <strong>Super- und einem Mini-Vollmond</strong> am Himmel freiäugig nicht festzustellen. Wenn der Mond einmal besonders groß erscheint, so ist das fast immer auf die <strong><a style="color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mondt%C3%A4uschung">Mondtäuschung</a></strong> in Horizontnähe zurückzuführen.</p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Übrigens: Sie haben wirklich nichts verpasst, da der unsichtbare Neumond zu dem Zeitpunkt, als er am nächsten und größten war, bei uns auch noch unter dem Horizont stand.
