<td class="long-text links-color" style="font-weight: normal; color: #000000; font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: left; line-height: normal;" align="left" valign="top" width="100%"> <h3 style="text-align: justify;">Saturn-Opposition und <em>Blue Supermoon </em></h3> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Der September leitet den Herbst ein, den meteorologischen am 1.9., den astronomischen am 23.9. Und was wäre ein Herbst ohne die Riesenplaneten Jupiter und Saturn? Beide sind nun schon in der ersten Nachthälfte aufgegangen und am Osthimmel hell zu sehen.</p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Wie um den Auftakt zur astronomischen Saison zu bezeichnen, steht dieser Tage <strong>Saturn in Opposition</strong> zur Sonne (exakt am 27.8.), und geht somit auf, wenn die Sonne untergeht, ist also die ganze Nacht zu sehen, auch im Teleskop jetzt besonders groß und hell. Jupiter folgt nun auch schon deutlich vor Mitternacht, natürlich mit noch einmal überragender Helligkeit.</p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Am 31. August begibt sich noch ein Ereignis, das vor allem medial große Beachtung findet: ein <strong>"blauer Supervollmond"</strong> wird verheißen! Super finden Astronomiebegeisterte den Vollmond eigentlich selten, da er einfach nur blendet und stört. Diesmal auch noch besonders stark, denn durch eine relativ große Erdnähe zum Zeitpunkt des Vollmonds (ca. 10% näher als im Mittel) leuchtet er sogar an die 30% heller als sonst und erscheint auch gut ein Zehntel größer im Durchmesser. Mangels Vergleichsmöglichkeit würde einem das aber - ohne Medienhype - kaum auffallen. <br>Und warum ist der Mond blau? Anzeichen für einen Herbstblues? - Nein, mit dem Herbst hat es nichts zu tun, und mit der Farbe Blau auch nichts. Der Mond sieht aus wie immer. Nur ist es der zweite Vollmond in einem Monat (nachdem am 1.8. schon einmal Vollmond war), und das kommt eben recht selten vor - nur <em>"once in a blue moon"</em>, wie es heißt. Die nächsten Male erst 2026, 2028 und 2031. Eine astronomische Bedeutung hat dies alles nicht.</p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Ein Hingucker sind die drei Highlights des späten Abends: Saturn, Vollmond und Jupiter aber allemal - und das ist uns natürlich willkommen, denn es erinnert uns alle daran, dass nun die Zeit der früheren Dämmerung einsetzt und auch die <a style="color: #3f3f3f; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://sternwarte-muenchen.de/regelmaessige-abendfuehrung/"><strong>"Münchner Sternstunden"</strong></a> ab 1.9. schon wieder <span style="text-decoration: underline;">um 20 Uhr</span> beginnen (jeden Montag bis Freitag). </p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">An den beiden verbleibenden <strong>Ferien-Samstagen - dem 2.9. und dem 9.9.</strong> - finden ebenfalls <a style="color: #3f3f3f; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://sternwarte-muenchen.de/regelmaessige-abendfuehrung/"><strong>Abendführungen</strong></a> statt, auch jeweils um 20 Uhr, für die es noch einige wenige freie Plätze gibt. </p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; text-align: justify;"> </p> </td>

<td class="long-text links-color" style="font-weight: normal; color: #000000; font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: left; line-height: normal;" align="left" valign="top" width="100%"> <h3 style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Vortrag zur Saisoneröffnung</strong></h3> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;"><strong>von Bernhard Buchner - neuer Leiter der Volkssternwarte München</strong></p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;"><strong>am Freitag, dem 15.09.2023, um 20 Uhr</strong></p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Nass waren zuletzt die Tage, wässrig geht es im Herbst aber auch am Nachthimmel zu - auch und gerade, wenn es nicht regnet: Dort tummeln sich die Fische und der Wassermann, daneben noch der Delphin, der Ziegenfisch (bekannter als Steinbock), der Südliche Fisch und der Walfisch, der den Anti-Helden im ewigen Perseus-Andromeda-Drama gibt, das sich ebenfalls wieder dort, wie jeden Herbst, über dem Himmelsmeer abspielt. </p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Und wer "Andromeda" sagt, muss auch "Nebel" sagen - und meint damit nicht Herbstnebel, sondern natürlich die berühmte Andromedagalaxie M31, die in diesem Jahr ein ganz besonderes 100-jähriges Jubiläum feiert: 1923 konnte Edwin Hubble erstmals nachweisen, dass M31 eben dies ist: eine Galaxie, wie unsere Milchstraße. Wenn wir heute von fernsten und frühesten Galaxien hören, ist es gut, sich bewusst zu machen, dass die Wissenschaft erst seit 100 Jahren überhaupt sicher weiß, dass das Universum mehr umfasst als nur unsere Heimatgalaxie, die "Milchstraße", die nur mehr eine von Hunderten von Milliarden Galaxien ist. <br>Von eben jenen Galaxien hat gerade der Herbststernhimmel besonders viele zu bieten, darunter nicht zuletzt das berühmte vom James Webb Teleskop abgelichtete "Stephans Quintett". <br>Am Herbsthimmel findet sich u.a. ferner noch das "Auge Gottes", ein "blauer Schneeball", ein Teufelsstern (Algol), ein "Wunder"-Stern (Mira) und natürlich die vier Riesenplaneten Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus und mit Neptun sogar der Meeresgott persönlich. </p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Alles über die sehenswertesten Objekte und Ereignisse am Herbsthimmel mit vielen praktischen Beobachtungstipps erfahren Sie im Vortrag. </p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Und das Beste: Sollte der Himmel im Anschluss an den Vortrag klar sein, geht es an die Teleskope, um einige der Highlights gleich selbst in Augenschein zu nehmen!</p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; text-align: justify;"><em>Eintritt 8 / 5 Euro<br>Ticketbuchung vorab empfohlen, begrenzte Platzzahl</em></p> </td>
