September um 8:50 Uhr</strong> <strong>MESZ</strong> ist es so weit: Die Sonne überquert den Himmelsäquator Richtung Süden, und die Nächte überwiegen dann wieder auf der nördlichen Hemisphäre. Ein Grund zum Frohlocken für alle Sternbegeisterten, und Anlass für uns, die Vortragssaison ab morgen, dem 15.9., wieder einzuläuten mit dem Vortrag zum "Herbststernhimmel" durch unseren neuen Sternwartenleiter Bernhard Buchner. Passend dazu wird am morgigen Freitagabend weltweit die <a style="color: #3f3f3f; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://www.earth-night.info/"><strong>"Earth Night"</strong></a> begangen, bei der ab 22 Uhr überall außen die Lichter ausgehen sollen! Juli 2023 ist Bernhard Buchner Leiter der Volkssternwarte München e.V.</strong></p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Der gebürtige Münchner und Marketing-Experte ist bereits seit über zehn Jahren im ehrenamtlichen Führungsdienst der Volkssternwarte aktiv dabei und somit mit allen Ecken und Winkeln des Himmels wie auch des Vereinslebens bestens vertraut.</p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Den Zugang zur Astronomie hat er schon als Kind durch Besuche im Deutschen Museum und in der Volkssternwarte gefunden und gehört seit langem zum engagierten Stammpersonal des Sternwartenbetriebs und zu den <a style="color: #3f3f3f; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://www.merkur.de/bayern/meteorit-bayern-sternschnuppe-feuerkugel-fliegt-ueber-bayern-92367826.html">"bekannten Gesichtern"</a> der Sternwarte. So moderierte er z.B. 2020 während der Corona-Schließung die "Online-Sternstunden" und ist auch weiterhin, zusätzlich zu seiner neuen hauptamtlichen Tätigkeit, ehrenamtlich bei den <a style="color: #3f3f3f; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://sternwarte-muenchen.de/regelmaessige-abendfuehrung/">"Münchner Sternstunden"</a> an den Dienstagabenden zu erleben.</p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; text-align: justify;">Am 15.9. eröffnet Bernhard Buchner mit dem "<a style="color: #3f3f3f; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://sternwarte-muenchen.de/event-vsw/herbst23-2/">Herbststernhimmel</a>" die Vortragssaison.</p> </td>
