Oktober 2023, 20 Uhr</strong></p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Bis vor genau einhundert Jahren, bis 1923, ahnte man noch nicht wirklich viel von der unvorstellbaren oder gar unendlichen Größe des Universums. Noch zur so genannten <a style="color: #3f3f3f; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shapley-Curtis-Debatte"><em>Great Debate</em></a> 1920 galt als gut möglich, dass das Universum "nur" in etwa die Größe der Milchstraße habe, gerade mal vielleicht ein paar hunderttausend Lichtjahre im Durchmesser - und dass unsere Milchstraße somit quasi schon alles sei: das All sei.</p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Die Entdeckung eines Cepheiden-Veränderlichen im Andromeda-"Nebel" M31 durch Edwin Hubble 1923 (s. oben die berühmte Aufnahme vom 6.10.1923) änderte schlagartig alles: Die abertausenden von kleinen Nebelflecken, die seit dem 18. Jahrhundert überall am Himmel entdeckt und katalogisiert worden waren, sind keine kleinen Wolken innerhalb unserer Milchstraße, sondern eigene gigantische Milchstraßensysteme. Über Nacht war das uns bekannte Universum um drei Größenordnungen gewachsen; bis heute fast noch mal so viel.</p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Wie können wir unsere relative Winzigkeit zu dieser ungeheuren Größe in eine verständlichen Bezug setzen? - Genau das unternimmt der Vortrag und entführt in abenteuerliche Weiten, um schließlich in einer überraschenden Wendung zu unserer irdischen Existenz zurückzukommen. Die Story stammt aus der Feder des 2022 verstorbenen Grand Seigneur der deutschen Nachkriegs-SF, Herbert W. Franke, der die Geschichte eigens für<br>die Tölzer Marionettenbühne geschrieben hat.</p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Seit 2007 brechen die zierlichen Figuren an Fäden von Oberbayern zum Kristallplaneten auf — zu einer Konfrontation mit ganz andersartigem intelligenten Leben auf kristalliner Struktur. Auf ihrer Reise werden ihre Handlungen von einem geheimen Kontrollzentrum auf der Erde minutiös überwacht. </p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Sobald sich der Vorhang öffnet, taucht der Zuschauer mit den Akteuren in die Weiten des Universums ein und verfolgt das spannende Abenteuer einer Reise ins ferne Ungewisse.
