November 2023, ca. 10:30 - 12:30 Uhr</strong></p> <h3>Die <a style="color: #3f3f3f; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://sternwarte-muenchen.de/event-vsw/sicheltanz23/">Sonderveranstaltung</a> an der Volkssternwarte ist AUSVERKAUFT!</h3> <p style="margin: 1em 0px;"><strong>Aber: Beobachtbar von zu Hause & überall </strong>(bei klarem Himmel)</p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px;"><em>+++ Bitte <span style="text-decoration: underline; color: #fa0707;"><strong>Vorsichtsmaßnahmen</strong></span> beachten wegen Sonne am Taghimmel! +++</em><br><em>+++ Achten Sie darauf, niemals direkt in die Sonne zu sehen, zumal mit Fernglas o.ä.. +++</em><br><em>+++ Gefahr schwerer Augenschäden bis hin zur Erblindung! +++</em></p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Jeden Monat zieht der Mond seine Bahn um den gesamten Himmel und kommt dabei auch immer wieder an hellen Sternen und Planeten vorbei, die mit besonderen Vorkehrungen und Vorsichtsmaßnahmen auch am Taghimmel sichtbar sind. Eher selten jedoch verläuft die Mondbahn so, dass der Mond den anderen Himmelskörper auch direkt "überfährt" und bedeckt. Zuletzt geschah Venus dies im Juni 2020, das nächste Mal erst wieder im September 2025 - und das Wetter hat auch jedes Mal noch ein gewichtiges Wörtchen mitzureden. Morgen, am 09.11.2023, leider nur mit gemischter Prognose, aber nicht hoffnungslos. Mond und Venus erscheinen am Taghimmel ohnehin nur blass und kontrastarm. Die erwartete Schleierbewölkung (sofern nicht noch Schlimmeres) könnte die Sicht daher bereits erschweren oder nahezu unmöglich machen.</p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Da alle Plätze der Sonderveranstaltung - die mit einem Rahmenprogramm auch der mäßigen Wetterprognose trotzt - bereits ausverkauft sind, verweisen wir aber dennoch <a style="color: #3f3f3f; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://sternwarte-muenchen.de/event-vsw/sicheltanz23/">auf unsere Website</a>, wo beschrieben ist, wie Sie das Himmelsereignis von überall aus sicher beobachten können. </p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Ein kleines Taschenfernglas genügt bereits. Nur achten Sie bitte unbedingt darauf, niemals - auch nicht kurz oder versehentlich - in die Sonne zu schauen! Taghimmelbeobachtungen sind durchaus riskant, zumal wenn man optische Geräte benutzt. <br>Am besten stellen Sie sich in den Schatten einer Hauswand, dann kann gar nichts passieren - aber obacht: Schatten wandern mit der Zeit!</p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Ab halb elf oder Viertel vor elf Uhr am Donnerstagvormittag können Sie die Mondsichel anpeilen (ungefähr 45° rechts, d.h. westlich der Sonne, also knapp südwestlich, und etwa 10° höher am Himmel als die Sonne). Vom Mondrand aus gesehen ist Venus links unten bei ca. "sieben Uhr" der Mondsichel bereits 'gefährlich' nah. Wer schon früher schauen möchte: Ab ca. halb zehn Uhr vormittags ist Venus weniger als einen Monddurchmesser von der Sichel entfernt und dank dieser Aufsuchhilfe auffindbar. Um fünf vor elf wird es dann richtig spannend: Man kann dem Mond bei seiner Wanderung um die Erde, die ihn - entgegen dem durch die Erdrotation verursachten (und daher nur scheinbaren) Tageslauf von Ost nach West - im Laufe eines knappen Monats Richtung Osten wandern lässt, zusehen und minütlich und zum Schluss sekündlich sehen, wie er zur Venus aufschließt und diese schließlich in weniger als einer Minute "verschlingt". Da Venus selbst nicht punktförmig, sondern als unser nächster Nachbarplanet flächenhaft erscheint, dauert es über 40 Sekunden, bis sie ganz verschwunden ist. Schon ab ca. 10-facher Vergrößerung lässt sich die etwas mehr als halb beleuchtete Kugelgestalt der Venus erahnen - vorausgesetzt, die Optik ruht auf einem festen Untergrund, am besten auf einem Stativ.<br>Um sich das räumlich vorzustellen: Venus ist mit über 120 Mio. km etwa 300-mal weiter entfernt als der Mond (mit knapp 400.000 km), erscheint aber nur 90-mal kleiner. In Wahrheit ist sie fast 3,5-mal größer im Durchmesser als der Mond: 12.100 km, fast erdgroß, im Vergleich zu knapp 3.500 km. Anders gewendet: Von der Sonne aus gesehen (ca. 150 Mio. km entfernt) erschiene die Erde nur unwesentlich kleiner als die Venus derzeit von uns aus gesehen.</p> <p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify;">Gut eine Stunde später, ca. ab 12:10 Uhr MEZ für München, taucht Venus am rechten (westlichen) unbeleuchteten Mondrand bei "vier Uhr" wieder auf. Nur dass es weitaus anspruchsvoller ist, diesen Moment genau zu erwischen, sofern man kein fest montiertes Teleskop mit parallaktischer Mondtierung bzw. Nachführung besitzt, da vor dem hellen Taghimmel der Mondrand nicht sichtbar ist und keine Orientierungshilfe bietet.
